Pablo Eguia is Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

He received the M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Basque Country in 1998. He obtained his PhD. Degree in Electrical Engineering in 2007 in the same University.

Dr. Eguia is the leader of GISEL research group at UPV/EHU with over 15 years of experience in power system analysis and integration of renewable energy.

He is the principal researcher of several publicly and privately funded research projects and works as a consultant for different companies in the renewable energy sector, from inverter manufacturers to plant developers.

He is co-author of more than 32 papers and book chapters, and over 100 conference papers.

Dr. Eguia is member of IEEE and CIGRE.
