V Marine Energy Conference Best Poster Award

The winner of the V Marine Energy Conference Best Poster Award has been François-Xavier Faÿ from TECNALIA. The title of the winning poster is “Sea trial results of the operation of a predictive algorithm in the Mutriku Wave Power plant”. The poster received a total of 44.5 points out of 50. Aesthetic, technical, oral presentation and general impression criteria were considered.

François-Xavier is currently working towards his PhD in the University of the Basque Country. His research is focused on predictive control strategies for oscillating water column devices with promising results validated in electrical test-rig and in field (Mutriku Wave Power plant).
