We participate in the summer course with the Saltillo’s crew

Members of the JRL-ORE were the speakers in the Saltillo’s stop in Mutriku last July 14th.

Within the activities of the summer course A University that looks to the sea: sailing through knowledge on the school ship Saltillo there is a conference programme onshore.

Students from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU and the University of Bordeaux take part in this journey, between Santurtzi and San Juan de Luz, which is being held between July 11 and 20. They are visiting different enclaves on the Basque coast where free activities open to citizens are being held.

Yesterday Eider Robles and Iñigo Martinez de Alegría were the speakers in the Mutriku stop with two interesting talks that could be followed online:

• Offshore Renewable Technologies: Present and Future
• Underwater Vehicles for Offshore Renewable Energies

 

After the conferences, Mutriku wave energy plant was visited.
